A Big Marietta Hello to Attorney Suave

On Behalf of | Jul 7, 2013 | Marietta

Suave: displaying smoothness and sophistication in matter or attitude; urbane.

When last we were together, I typed that we had packed up all of the Marietta office’s accoutrements onto a moving truck and moved out, leading one particularly inquiring mind to inquire, “so are you practicing out of a truck now?”

Good question. No.

We moved approximately 200 yards down Roswell St. to 211 Roswell St. We actually moved closer to the Court house. I didn’t think that possible.

The building is a two and half stories built of stone, steel and travertine.  You can’t miss it.  It easily has the best road presence in that area. Outside is funky, a little Frank Loyd Wright like. We are told that when it was built it was called the Taj Mahal. It was built by Awtrey and Parker. More recently it housed Moore, Ingram, Johnson and Steele.

Inside it just gets better and better. The main building is two stories with a three story atrium capped off by a massive skylight. Almost the whole roof is open to the sky!  The atrium holds a floating iron staircase and is surrounded on the second floor with a balcony that connects all of the offices.  We will have an interior garden, aviary and koi pond.

The building is approximately 11,000 square feet with 23 offices. This is a far, far cry from the 1,700 square feet were were cramped into before with only 7 offices. Without a doubt we have moved on up.

The existing Marietta operation occupies the top floor. We will house a family law information center on the main floor. The attached building, a half a floor down from the main floor will house our Justice Cafe’, opening in Marietta in August. The Justice Cafe’ has a separate ground level entrance.

The building has four conference rooms including a very large conference room with a fantastic table built just for that room.  The building has a full scale, working kitchen which will soon start preparing meals for many planned events.

The building is cool; it defines cool.  As we get more accustomed to the space, now only a week old to us, you can tell that we are relaxing into the expanded digs, feeling the tempo of the exquisite environment.

When next you are on the Square, please come by and visit our Marietta divorce lawyers. Enjoy the soft sounds of Brazilian jazz wafting through the atrium. We will proudly take you on the grand tour of our new, suave space. We are so very excited to be here. We have no doubt that you are going to like it, too!
