Joshua Roye is an Associate Attorney with The Manely Firm, P.C. Atlanta Office, litigating cases throughout Georgia.
Originally from Clayton County, Georgia, Joshua moved nearby to Atlanta to attend Georgia State University where he discovered a passion for public policy and advocacy. His internship through the Georgia Legislative Internship Program led to several advocacy positions within the Georgia legislature before culminating in a position as Legislative Liaison under then Georgia Governor, Nathan Deal. Soon after the legislative session of Governor Deal's final year of his term, Joshua began his legal education at Georgia State University's College of Law.
While attending law school full-time, Joshua placed a great emphasis on obtaining hands-on experience within the field by working briefly as a Judicial Assistant under Cassandra Kirk and as a Legal Assistant for the Danquah Law Group, LLC helping immigrants navigate the bureaucracy of the citizenship process.
Experienced in advocacy and with a deep sensitivity for those who are made to deal with legal matters surrounding deeply personal conflicts, Joshua understands how to listen and communicate options in such a way as to make his clients feel empowered in their decision-making. He works tirelessly to collaborate with his esteemed trial team to strategize and realize a client's goals in a court of law.
In his spare time, Joshua Roye enjoys hiking throughout many of Georgia's beautiful parks; playing guitar; and spending quality time with friends, family, and his two cats. Joshua also volunteers at the Atlanta Community Food Bank.
