It’s that time of year where we reflect on those things for which we are thankful.
I have a wonderful wife for whom I am truly thankful. We have had a wonderful year full of growth and love as husband and wife. For this, I am eternally thankful.
With our large military presence here in the Savannah area, we all were reminded on Veteran’s Day earlier this month of the sacrifices our troops make day in and day out. They sacrifice their time, their families, and their lives for our freedom and protection. For those sacrifices, I am thankful.
I work for a great firm with great people doing great work. I am constantly in a position both to lead and to learn and to mentor and be mentored. I work with a great team that truly cares for their clients and their well-being. For those opportunities and for these co-workers, I am thankful.
I have had many opportunities professionally and personally this year for which I am thankful. Life’s blessings have abound and for them I am thankful.
I am thankful for the families I have served this year. I have had many people come in and sit across the desk from me and ask me to serve them as they go through the most stressful and emotional time in their lives. They share with me their stresses, their dreams and their fears, and they trust us to help guide them through the process of a family law case. For that trust, I am thankful.
I hope that all of you are able to spend time this week with family and friends as well as some time for personal reflection on the good things you’ve experienced this past year.
