Gwinnett County Divorce And Family Law Attorneys
The Superior Court of Gwinnett County is located in Lawrenceville. The
Superior Court is housed in a building with a lovely atrium which provides
natural light throughout all three floors of the Courthouse. I won my
second Mock Trial State Championship here back in 1989 when the building
was brand new and the County was showing it off. I am partial to the Courthouse
and rather fond of the judges.
The Superior Court of Gwinnett County has 10 Judges, so there is a lot
of access to judges. The bench in Gwinnett has always been deep in practical
wisdom, keeping Court calendars moving swiftly and smoothly and administering
justice as well as any bench I've seen. Each judge handles his or
her calendars differently. Some plan for just a few cases to be heard
each hour of a given day. Others approach it more traditionally, scheduling
40 - 60 cases to appear at a time a week to try them all if need be.
The Courthouse is located well off the downtown square, down Langley Drive,
off of Highway 120 in Lawrenceville. There are large parking lots surrounding
the Courthouse but many mornings you will find these extensive lots crowded
to over capacity.
Our Lawrenceville office, like all of our offices, is as close to the Courthouse
as you can get. We are the last building you see before you enter the
Courthouse complex. Our office is a little white house which is bordered
by Constitution and Langley, which both offer driveways into our parking
lot, and West Crogan. If you are our client you can park in our parking
lot while we are in Court.
In addition to handling Divorce, Custody, Child Support, Contempt, Modification
actions, etc, in Gwinnett County, the Lawrenceville office also handles
matters arising in Walton and Hall Counties.
