Our office in Canton is located in the Babcock building, easily the most attractive building in town. The building is graced with a three story atrium which brings bright sunlight into and throughout the building. The trees and ferns on the ground floor soak up the sunlight and provide fresh air and an outstanding ambiance to the place. Our office is located on the first floor, next to the atrium.
Practicing in Canton is practicing at a quieter pace. The old city brings you back to a less hectic time. It is a pleasure to walk a few doors up the street to the drug store for a candy bar or to the book store for a quick read or upstairs to the soda shop for a refreshing drink. It is easy to stroll in Canton.
Every one of our offices share a common trait. They are located right next to the Courthouse. In Cherokee County, Canton, our office is directly across the street from the Courthouse with an entrance on both East Main Street and North Street.
From the Courthouse door on North Street across from the Square, just cross North Street and walk down the street a few doors until you reach the Babcock Building. Go down the stairs, through the hallway toward the atrium. When you reach the atrium, our office is on the left at the base of the next set of stairs. We are less than a five minute walk, security included, to the Court room.
Parking is generally for a two hour maximum up and down Canton's two main streets. All day parking can be found farther down the streets or in the Courthouse parking lot, located behind the Courthouse. That lot is often full on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday mornings.
In addition to handling Divorce, Custody, Child Support, Contempt, Modification actions, etc, in Cherokee County, the Canton office also handles matters arising in Floyd, Gordon and Pickens Counties.
